An interesting read noting that most movies I've seen seemed to have been, pretty much, faithful to the story. The Darling family was just a darling - very traditional family (err, maybe I should make an exception of the strange-ness of the father). The adventures were just GRAND. Peter Pan was just awfully & selfishly immature (of course, he is just a boy who does not Want to grow up). I think it's a terrific children's story.
