Um, boring?I really like the concept of the story but the whole book, all 1,000+ pages of it feels like it's just setting up for the meat of the story. Approximately half of the book is setting up background for this book and this whole book feels like setting up for the next two.Whilst it was necessary for the readers to understand the past / background of the Mayfair family (especially the witches), I found myself absolutely bored reading it from a third person point of view with lots of conjenctures. And as it was inserted right on the middle of the present time's plot, I just really wanted it to get going with what's going on now (if that makes sense).At the moment, it is unlikely that I'll be reading the next installment :p
