An enjoyably simple read – this is one of those books you’d read to completely relax. The blurb itself is pretty simple and gave you pretty much what the book is all about so all you’re reading it for is for the ‘how’ the mystery was solved. Oh, and of course, let’s not forget the love interest!Erin was a great character! Firstly, she is fighting for what she wants from life the best way she could. She didn’t just give up and go with the flow. Nor did she only dream. She is working hard and will not let anything get in her way, not even love! Or will she?The ending was not quite what I expected (ie. what usually would follow, I think) but I actually liked it. I like the way Erin matured, became stronger & independent. I had some questions about the vampire side of things (eg. their ability & such) but all in all, it was a pretty likeable read.
