The Sea, The Sea

The Sea, The Sea (Vintage Classics) - Iris Murdoch I should've thought about the reading the book more seriously. I've read that it's about an egoistic but I didn't realise that he is such a manipulative egoistical deluded bastard who's going through a mid-life crisis. Definitely was not a fun read although, because it was told from his POV, there were times I was nearly being convinced that he's understood the situation better but I had to disillusion myself pretty quickly after. It was just awful. I felt like shaking him and just smacking some sense into him but yet, I felt sorry for him anyway...So, if you're considering of taking up this book, just bewarned that you have to be in the right patient, sympathetic mood :)
