I'm not a big fan of short stories. I just don't find them satisfying enough.There were 8 stories in this book. Mostly revolving around Indian-Americans. That is, persons of Indian decent but is westernised in their upbringing (mostly in the US of A). I can understand that feeling of straddling both world being Chinese Australian; of feeling being pulled back by tradition, wanting to push back and yet feeling guilty anyway.They were easy to read though full of meaning however they bore me a bit. There 3 interlinked stories which I quite enjoyed (because it's made longer that way!) however really really do NOT appreciate the ending. *huffed*
