It was a quick & easy thrilling read. I'm not quite sure what this type of thriller is called but I call it 'Vatican conspiracy'. Of which I'm sure it's all plausible, that there are many things being kept secret where certain personages will keep to the utmost of their ability to be kept secret from the world. Now, does that make me sound a little bit nuts?To get back to the book, you will need an even more opened mind in that the "secret" refers to some revelations from apparitions of the Lady. I'm most sceptical about these apparitions to begin with but I could take it reading in a novel. It took up nearly the whole novel (I started to wonder whether the 'secret' will be kept vague & secret) before the 'secret' was revealed. At the end, after a bit of thought, whilst it was good reading when it lasted but a bit of wishful thinking & wishy-washy for me. Definitely not on a re-read list for me.
