So much of my delight in a book depends on my expectations of the book. I have had certain expectations of this book and they were telling me that I will tend not to enjoy the book at all. BUT...It was a pretty easy read once you got used to the unusual names etc. I devoured it in a day - could've done it in one sitting but I had to work too! What I love most was the Tension and I'm not talking just about sexual tension - it was the tension / suspense of unknown territory, of others with power, etc. It existed throughout the book, all the way to the end. I also truly appreciated the restaint shown by the characters and the common sense retained.Note: I tried looking at the clouds but all I saw was white... I am kinda half-blind so maybe I'm also half-colour-blind...
