I rarely read romance novels and I have to in a particular mood to be able to enjoy it. As it happens, I added this book to my tbr because I'd like to read more Australian authors, being Aussie myself, across all genres. I read this book to fulfil a reading challenge as it fit perfectly for the task required. I didn't even know exactly what the story will be (ie. did not read the blurb prior to reading).I was so very pleasantly surprised. I was drawn into the story from the word 'go'. The first chapter opens as Grace Pagett reached consciousness and realised she is tied down after being snatched off the streets. I was sucked right through and could hardly put the book down. I was so in the right mood for romance and it was such a perfect book to match my mood. There was suspense from fear & suspicions; a struggle between good & evil; and of course, the triumph of love. Not to be forgotten too was the delicious sexual tensions ;)
