I'm not quite sure whether I liked it or not. I have heard that it is a dark story. I have started to read it a while ago and I only just finally able to read the whole book. I, usually, love time travelling story but in this case, I suppose the ending was just so not an ending... it just kinda hangs there. I can, of course, appreciate Wells' ambition for the time traveller travelled not to the year 2000 or the year 3000 but "Eight Hundred and Two Thousand Seven Hundred and One A.D." however this place he travelled to, sounds to me more like another dimension rather than the future Earth. On the whole, it was okay but not a fan.
