This is one of those un-satisfying ending books for me. It wasn’t a happy ending. It wasn’t a tragic ending. It was just… an ending. As the title and the description of the book probably will tell you, it’s all about American football (this definition is necessary as I’m Aussie and football to me means Aussie Rules). As I know almost nothing about American football, most (about 80%) of the book means nothing to me. There was a bit of mystery surrounding some past events which were, of course, revealed, near the end. And there was, I supposed, some ‘growing’ done by the main character but all in all, this book is comparably a non-event for me.
