It was a fantastic imaginary journal of travelling through Egypt in the 1920s. Filled with beautiful pictures / sketches and things like a brochure you would get from a museum etc, it was really an enjoyable trip. This book is made to be a 'facsimile' of the original journal of Emily Sands, ie. it's made to look and feel like the original journal with papers / postcards / brochures being stuck at certain places and folded in certain ways, sketches with commentaries, etc. It was done really well and I really enjoyed unfolding and checking things through. It was just a really beautiful book to read / look through.
