It was... interesting...The book is basically made up of anecdotes of life around American Chinese Twins, Moonie and Mei Ling Wong. So it's not the usual continuous storyline although it appears to be chronological (if not, quite nearly chronological). The stories were strange and I feel that they were a bit 'all over the shop' but what you need to understand is that it's not really about Moonie & Mei Ling Wong, it's main focus is Chinese fables / myths / stories which the author has taken the liberty to place into the contemporary times utilising the twins as a literary tool.Unless you're interested in Chinese fables / myths / etc, don't bother.
