Definitely not my sort of reads but I picked it up for a challenge and I read it!It has given me a better insight into the world of politics. The book is a collection of essays in relation to 7 labor premiers at & around 2005 in all Australia's states & territories. It's quite interesting how most of them sorta fell into the position with minimum experiences and was seen as a 'stopgap' leaders yet became one of the most successful premiers. This was attributed to certain qualities of their persons which include good communication skills: listening to the people, taking things on board, and the ability to generate good media presence. What also impresses me most is how hard-working they all are! I can't imagine being that passionate about work and working that much of my life away...
